About CozyKilowatt

CozyKilowatt exists because of a mess: the federal energy tax credits ended in December 2025, the money moved into 50-plus separate state programs and hundreds of utility programs, and most of the internet still hasn't noticed. Homeowners deserve one place that tracks what's actually true, state by state, with dates on it.

Who runs this

The site is edited by Ionel Glogoveanu, founder and editor, and published by Steliano Impex SRL, a data-processing and web-administration company registered in Romania. Neither has any financial relationship with a utility, contractor, manufacturer or government program. How we verify

• Program details come from official sources only — state energy offices, utilities and public utility districts, the IRS, the Department of Energy — and every page names its source.
• Each state page carries the date its figures were last read on the official page. If funding runs out or rules change, we update the page and the date.
• When we haven't read a state's official page yet, its page says "not yet verified" instead of guessing. An honest gap beats a confident error.
• Every correction is logged publicly, with the date and the source, in the corrections log — including our own mistakes.

How we make money

Not yet. As of September 29, 2026, the site shows no advertising and contains no affiliate links. If either starts, it will be disclosed before it appears and it will never change a figure, a status or a date. Details: affiliate disclosure.

What we don't do

• We don't collect leads or run forms. No pop-up asking for your phone number so "contractors can call you."
• We don't pretend to have tested equipment we haven't. Write-ups based on specifications are labeled as such.
• We don't let a rebate deadline pressure you. If a program is closing, we'll tell you — and also tell you what to check before signing anything.
• We don't buy links, publish sponsored posts or pay for traffic.

Reuse our data

The state registry, the deadlines and the corrections are free to reuse as data under CC BY 4.0, with a link to the source page.
