Ionel Glogoveanu is the founder and editor of CozyKilowatt. Since 2005 he has owned and run Steliano Impex SRL, a data-processing and web-administration company registered in Romania, which also owns this site. He does not sell, install or service heating equipment and has no financial relationship with any utility, contractor, manufacturer or government program. His work here is verification: reading the official program pages of U.S. state energy offices and utilities, recording amounts, eligibility rules and deadlines with the date they were checked, and publishing a correction — his own included — whenever a figure changes or was wrong.

What this site is

CozyKilowatt is a reference for U.S. home energy rebates after the federal 25C and 25D tax credits ended on December 31, 2025. It keeps a state-by-state registry of the federally funded Home Energy Rebates and the state and utility programs that pay now, a calendar of verified deadlines you can subscribe to, and a public log of corrections. The registry, the deadlines and the corrections are free to reuse as data under CC BY 4.0.

How I work

Each figure on a program page is read on the official page of the state energy office, the utility or the federal agency on the day the page is written or re-checked, and the page shows that date. When an official page does not prove today's status, the row stays marked "not yet verified" rather than guessed. When a guide, a contractor page or an AI answer contradicts the official source, the difference is logged as a correction with both figures and the date.
